Reflective Gold, Marble Resin Technique

There’s a difference you know-

-between the thoughts of a Contractor, and those of the Artist Mind. Speaking from both perspectives, I can tell where the ceiling lies in the mind of a contractor. More specifically, their level of visual creativity. There’s nothing wrong with that of course, but as Artists and Storytellers, my team and I are here to explore the boundless creative pathways stemming from our minds and experience, as well as our client’s, in order to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece of a floor for you to enjoy. We don't limit ourselves to working solely with metallic or colorful resins, some of our more luxury and refined designs are derived from years of experience in other fields of artistry. In short, what we can create for you: it's Ultimately, Timeless.

However, I often like to share this with my team:

“-though the design is significant, the lasting results aren’t to be neglected. It’s often comparable to preparing a canvas before painting: if done incorrectly, your work will not last.”

Operating within the realm of “duality” between infinite creativity, and logical functionality, we’re able to achieve some of the highest quality of resin flooring. And to be a bit more specific, you can find a breakdown of our process below!

Resin Flooring

The Estimate:

When someone shows interest and inquires about our flooring options, the first step is to hop on a phone call so we can gather more information on the project in mind.
We’ll confirm Location, Estimated Floor Size, and Existing Floor Type.
And with this information, we proceed with providing a range of prices for your project.
Should you find yourself comfortable with this range, we’ll move onto scheduling an in-person appointment inspection of the job-site, set for  the day you’d be ready to move forward with a deposit!
.
The Appointment:
.
Upon Arrival, We’ll further discuss the conditions of the job-site, and gather exact measurements so that we can provide an exact price for you.
During this time, we will also conduct moisture testing (if we’re dealing with concrete or tile), and check floor levels.
Once we’ve determined that the substrate is suitable for the Resin installation, we will proceed with the necessary paperwork as well as the deposit (which goes completely toward materials/labor costs).
.
The Process:
.
Firstly, we’ll prepare the floor with the use of a diamond grinder. This will give us the correct profile for the resin to grab ahold of and bond strongly to.
Next, we’ll expose and patch any cracks and seams with a strong, flexible, resin-compatible material, as well as a moisture blocking grout coating over the entire floor. This will also help to prevent air bubbles from seeping through future layers of Resin.
We’ll then proceed with the necessary preparations, and apply a thicker, solid color resin base coat (we’ll apply a second base coat as well, depending on the substrate).
The next step is to apply our design coating. This is the fun layer, where everything comes together.
Lastly, we’ll apply our clear protective top coat, which will provide: a slip resistance rating up to industry standards, UV Resistance, Heat Resistance, Scratch Resistance, Light chemical resistance, and with the added benefit of Low Maintenance, this top coat comes in High Gloss and Satin/Matte finishes.
We can also add Vinyl Decals to your floor, if you wanted any words, logos, etc.
